Croissant Bread Pudding Recipe With Bourbon Sauce

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound Croissants (cut into 1/2-inch cubes)
  • 8 large eggs
  • 2 cups whipping cream
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/4 cup Frangelico 
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 cup dried cranberries or raisins
  • Bourbon Sauce
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 6 tablespoon whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoon Jack Daniel’s Whiskey 
  • 2 teaspooon vanilla

Instructions
 

  • Spray a 13x9x2-inch baking pan with cooking spray. Distribute croissant cubes evenly in pan. Whisk eggs in a separate bowl.
  • Mix whipping cream, milk, sugar, Frangelico, vanilla extract, and almond extract together until well blended. Cover bread cubes evenly with the sauce. 
  • Sprinkle dried cranberries over the bread and press down with a spoon to absorb all the liquid. Let stand 30 minutes, occasionally pressing bread into custard mixture. 
  • Heat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Bake for about 40- 50 minutes or until the pudding is set in the center.
  • Allow to cool slightly. Top with whipped cream and Jack Daniel's sauce, and serve warm. Enjoy!
