Bev's Spaghetti Sauce Recipe

- 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
- 2 (16 ounce) cans tomato sauce
- 1 (28 ounce) can diced tomatoes
- 1 1⁄2 lbs ground beef
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 medium onion (chopped)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ground pepper (to taste)
- 8 ounces fresh mushrooms (sliced and sauteed in butter)
- parmesan cheese, freshly grated (optional)
In olive oil, brown ground beef, onion, garlic, oregano, basil, salt and pepper, Italian Seasoning with bay leaves.
Stir in the tomato paste, tomato sauce and diced tomatoes. Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat for 1 1/2 hours.
Put sauce on top of cooked spaghetti. Add sauteed mushrooms to the top. Enjoy!
