In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, 5 spice powders and place aside.
Mix chicken stock with cornstarch in another bowl and place aside for later use.
In a wok or frying pan, add 1 tablespoon of peanut oil over high heat. Coat the pan with peanut oil.
Once the pan is lightly smoking, put in the chicken and beef and cook them quickly for a minute. After that, add the shrimp and continue to cook for an additional 2 minutes.
Pour the five-spice sauce mixture into the pan and stir it in thoroughly. Once the meat is covered with the sauce, add the chopped vegetables and the cornstarch mixture. Remember to mix the cornstarch with the stock once more before pouring it into the pan.
Allow the sauce to gently simmer and reduce the heat to medium-low. When the sauce becomes thicker, turn off the heat and serve the dish while it's still hot. Enjoy your meal!
