Are you getting bored of always having the same types of side dishes with your meals? It's time to try something different and add a burst of flavour to your meals.
1 Ritz crackers (crumbled into bits, 4 tube cylinders but can add 2 more tubes) (14 1/2 ounce)
1 -2 Egg (lightly beaten)
Chicken stock (to baste)
Instructions
Cook the onions in oil or chicken fat until they turn very brown, then remove the excess grease.
Put the onions and celery into a big bowl with the cracker bits, and mix them together by tossing.
Mix in the eggs with the mixture and stir. Then, transfer the stuffing into a souffle dish.
Put it in the oven and bake at a temperature of 350 degrees for one hour. If you're making a turkey, baste the stuffing frequently with the drippings from the turkey. Alternatively, you can use chicken stock for basting.
