For The Cake: 1 box Vanilla cake mix 3.4 oz (box) Vanilla pudding (instant) 4 Eggs 1 1/2 cups Milk For The Filling: 1 cup butter (softened) (approx 2 sticks) 1 teaspoon Vanilla 4 tablespoons Flour 2 tablespoons Milk 2 cups Powdered sugar Powdered sugar (for the topping)
For The Cake: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Place parchment papers on two jelly roll pans measuring 15 x 10 inches each.
In a mixing bowl, beat together the cake mix, eggs, pudding mix, and milk until smooth and well combined.
Evenly distribute the cake batter between the two jelly roll pans and spread it out evenly.
Bake both pans for 12-15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Allow the cakes to cool completely before proceeding.
For The Filling Whisk butter In a mixing bowl until fluffy. Stir in powdered sugar, flour and vanilla. Add in milk and whisk until fluffy.
Spread the filling on only one of the cooled cakes.
Take the second cake and put it on top of the filled cake.
Sprinkle the amount of powdered sugar you like on the top.
Cut the cakes into squares to serve.
