Ingredients
  

  • 12 ounces  Egg Fettuccine
  • 1 pound  Shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 1/3 cup  Parmesan Cheese (freshly grated)
  • Green onions (sliced)
  • 1 teaspoon  Cajun seasoning
  • 1/4 cup  Green pepper (diced)
  • 1/4 cup  Yellow pepper (diced)
  • 1 cup  Heavy cream
  • 4 garlic  cloves (minced)
  • 1 1/2 cups  Mushroom (sliced)
  • 1/2 cup  Tomato (diced)
  • 8 tablespoons Butter (divided)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Smoked paprika
  • 12 ounces Andouille sausage, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions
 

  • Get a big pot and fill it with water. Put some salt in the water. Place the pot on the stove and turn on the heat. Wait for the water to boil.
  • Take a look at the pasta package and read the instructions. Follow those instructions to cook the pasta. When it's done, pour out the water and put the pasta in a separate bowl.
  • In a big frying pan, melt 3 tablespoons of butter.
  • Take the shrimp and sprinkle some Cajun spice and smoked paprika on them. Put the shrimp in the pan with the melted butter. Cook them until they turn pink. When they're cooked, use a spoon to take them out of the pan and put them in another bowl.
  • Put more butter in the pan. Wait for it to melt.
  • Add onions, bell peppers, tomatoes, mushrooms, and sausage to the pan. These ingredients will give lots of tasty flavours. Stir them in the pan until the vegetables become soft and the sausage turns brown.
  • Put tomato and garlic in the pan. Cook them for about 1 1/2 minutes until they start to smell really good.
  • Slowly pour in the heavy cream while stirring. Keep stirring until the sauce becomes thick.
  • Add Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, and parsley. Mix everything together until it's well combined. Taste the dish and see if it needs more seasoning. You can add a little bit of salt and pepper to make it even more delicious.
  • Take the pan off the heat and add the cooked pasta and shrimp. Gently mix everything together so that the sauce coats the pasta and the shrimp.
