  • Set your oven's temperature to 350°F to start.
  • In an oven-safe pan, add the olive oil, and heat over medium-high heat.
  • Once the chops are in the heated pan, cook them for about 5 minutes or until they start to become golden brown.
  • They should be golden brown once cooked on the other side for 3 to 5 minutes. Take out of the pan. Since you are done with that, so this is the time to add the browned pork chops, sauerkraut, and apple slices to the pan.
  • After that, place it in the oven that you already set to preheat because that's important for temperature maintenance. Also, bake it for 30 minutes by covering it.
  • When the pork reaches an internal temperature of at least 145 degrees, remove the lid and simmer for an additional 15 minutes. After that, you may either serve your pork chops with sauerkraut alone or with a side dish of your choice.
