Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Jasmine rice
  • 1 ¾ cup Chicken broth or water
  • 3 tsp Sesame oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup carrots
  • 1/3 cup Frozen peas
  • 1/4 cup Green onion (sliced)
  • 1/3 cup Fresh bean sprouts
  • 3 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ginger (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon  Garlic (minced)
  • 2 teaspoon  Molasses

Instructions
 

  • Boil chicken broth (or water) in a saucepan. Pour in the rice and simmer for 15 minutes until any liquid is absorbed by the rice.
  • In the meantime, combine soy sauce, mustard, garlic, ginger, and molasses and set aside.
  • Once the rice is ready, remove it from the heat. Add 1 tsp of sesame oil to a stir fry pan and heat. Break an egg into the pan and scramble it.
  • As soon as the eggs are scrambled, add 1 tsp sesame oil. Stir fry carrots, peas, green onion, and bean sprouts for 3-4 minutes.
  • Add the remaining tsp of sesame oil and rice, and stir fry for 3-4 minutes. Distribute rice around the pan so that as much as possible is spread out.
  • Add the soy sauce mixture and stir fry for another 3-4 minutes. Garnish with green onions. Serve!
