Ingredients

  • 1 pound Fresh cranberries (washed and sorted)
  • 1/4 cup  Orange juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 1/4 cup 100% cranberry juice (not cocktail)
  • 1 cup Honey

Instructions

  • In a 2-quart saucepan over medium heat, combine orange juice, cranberry juice, and honey.
  • Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium-low and let simmer for five minutes.
  • Add the cranberries and cook for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the berries burst and the mixture thickens.
  • Do not cook the sauce longer than 15 minutes as the pectin will begin to break down and the sauce will not set properly.
  • Take the sauce off the heat and let it cool for five minutes.
  • Pour the cranberry sauce carefully into a 3-cup mold. Let it sit in the refrigerator for at least six hours or overnight.
  • Remove from the refrigerator, turn the mold upside down, and remove the sauce. Cut into slices and serve. Enjoy!
