Golden Corral Chocolate Chess Pie Recipe is my favorite pie of all time. It is a staple for the holidays and the best part about it is that it is super easy to make. It is a rich dessert that has a lot of older cultural backgrounds.
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit. Place the pie shell in the oven. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes, until the bottom of the shell begins to brown. Remove from the oven and set aside to cool.
Combine flour, sugar, salt, and cocoa in a large mixing bowl. Whisk until well combined. Pour milk over the mixture. Using a spoon or an electric mixer, mix well.
Add the eggs one by one, mixing with each. Stir in the vanilla extract and butter. Mix until smooth.
Fill the pie shell with the batter. Place the pie in the oven. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
Take out of the oven. Let cool on a wire rack. When cooled, cover, refrigerate for 3 hours or until well-chilled.
Top the pie with whipped cream if it has completely cooled before adding the topping. Enjoy!
