Golden Corral Chocolate Chess Pie

Golden Corral Chocolate Chess Pie

Golden Corral Chocolate Chess Pie Recipe is my favorite pie of all time. It is a staple for the holidays and the best part about it is that it is super easy to make. It is a rich dessert that has a lot of older cultural backgrounds.

Ingredients

  • one 9-inch Pie Crust
  • 2 tablespoons All Purpose Flour
  • 1 1/2 cups Sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 5 tablespoons Cocoa Powder
  • 1/2 cup Evaporated Milk
  • 3 large eggs at room temperature (beaten)
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1/3 cup Unsalted Butter (softened)
  • Whipped Cream (store-bought or homemade)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit. Place the pie shell in the oven. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes, until the bottom of the shell begins to brown. Remove from the oven and set aside to cool.
  • Combine flour, sugar, salt, and cocoa in a large mixing bowl. Whisk until well combined. Pour milk over the mixture. Using a spoon or an electric mixer, mix well.
  • Add the eggs one by one, mixing with each. Stir in the vanilla extract and butter. Mix until smooth.
  • Fill the pie shell with the batter. Place the pie in the oven. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Take out of the oven. Let cool on a wire rack. When cooled, cover, refrigerate for 3 hours or until well-chilled.
  • Top the pie with whipped cream if it has completely cooled before adding the topping. Enjoy!
