Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Aunt Jemima Enriched Yellow Corn Meal
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 to 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.
  • Mix together the cornmeal, flour, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
  • Pour in the milk, egg, and oil. Beat for around 1 minute or until the mixture is smooth.
  • Pour the mixture in a greased 8x8-inch baking pan and bake in the oven for 20 to 23 minutes. 
  • Insert a toothpick into the center to check if it is done. A clean toothpick indicates it is finished. Remove from the oven and enjoy!
