Ingredients
  

  • 2 1/2 lb russet potatoes (peeled) 
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 teaspoon onion salt
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 3/4 cup water or as needed
  • 2 cups vegetable oil (for frying)

Instructions
 

  • Slice potatoes into french fries, and place them into cold water so that they will not turn brown while the oil is heating.
  • In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Sift the flour, garlic salt, onion salt, and paprika into a large bowl while the oil is heating.
  • Pour in enough water to make the mixture drizzle from a spoon. Once the batter is ready, dip each potato slice into it.
  • Place them in the hot oil without touching at first. You must add the fries one at a time to the skillet to avoid clumping.
  • Cook until golden brown and crispy. Remove and place on paper towels to dry.
  • Serve with your favorite dipping sauce. Enjoy!
