Air Fryer Baked Potatoes
Air Fryer Baked Potatoes are a great way to enjoy the delicious flavors of oven-baked potatoes in less time. This recipe is simple and easy to make.
Ingredients
- 2 Russet potatoes
- 2 slices cheese
- pinch of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper (minced)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon parsley (chopped)
- 1/2 teaspoon onion
- 2 tablespoon butter
- aluminum foil
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Prepare the potatoes by thoroughly cleaning, washing, and soaking them.
- Season the potatoes with onion, pepper, and salt, and add garlic if you want it to be more flavorful.
- Take aluminum foil and cover the potatoes, then cut lengthwise, not too deep. Next, add butter to the potatoes.
- Cook the potatoes in the fryer basket for a total of 40 minutes at 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Flip the potatoes after 20 minutes and cook for another 20 minutes.
- With a fork, poke holes in the potatoes. If the potatoes have softened inside and have a crisp exterior, you should stop cooking them.
- Garnish with cheese and parsley. For melting the cheese, you can bake it twice, just for a few minutes each time.
- Your air fryer baked potatoes are ready. Enjoy!
Notes
- Don't overcrowd your air fryer basket. If you put so many potatoes into the basket at the same time, the air would not be able to circulate.
- In order to determine whether a potato is cooked through, insert a knife into the center and pierce it easily. If they need more time, you can keep cooking them in the air fryer.
- Slice the potatoes down the middle immediately after you remove them from the air fryer basket so they do not become gummy.
- When the potatoes are cooked, you can clean the air fryer tray. By doing so, you will ensure that the air fryer runs smoothly.
