Barilla No Boil Lasagna

This is a simple, easy to make lasagna recipe that doesn’t require boiling pasta noodles. The sauce and cheese are layered into the pan with layers of no-boil lasagna sheets and ricotta cheese. This dish can be made ahead of time and frozen for later use. It’s perfect for a weeknight dinner or for entertaining.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 box Barilla no-boil lasagna noodles 1 box (9 oz)
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 container Ricotta cheese 1 container (15 oz)
  • 4 cups Mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • Spaghetti or pasta sauce
  • Parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Combine the beaten eggs, ricotta cheese and 2 cups of mozzarella and parmesan cheese in a bowl.
  • In the absence of parmesan cheese, just increase the mozzarella cheese. Keep aside. Spread 1 cup of sauce in the bottom of a 13-by-9-by-3-inch pan.
  • Make layers In this order, layer 4 uncooked lasagna noodles, 1/3 of the ricotta cheese mixture, half of the browned meat, 1 cup mozzarella cheese, and 1 cup of tomato sauce.
  • The next layer includes 4 uncooked lasagna noodles, 1/3 of the ricotta cheese mixture, and 1 1/2 cups of sauce.
  • The next layer includes 4 lasagna noodles, the remaining ricotta mixture, remaining meat, and 1 cup of sauce.
  • For the top layer, add 4 uncooked lasagna noodles, the remaining sauce, and 1 cup of mozzarella.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 50-60 minutes. Cover the dish and cook until all the cheese has melted on the top. Allow to stand for 15 minutes before serving.
