Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cups Salted butter softened
  • 1 cup Dark brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tbsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 2 cups Chocolate chips
  • 1 cup Nuts

Instructions
 

  • Combine brown sugar, butter, and granulated sugar in a large bowl. Beat until smooth using a mixer.
  • Stir in eggs, vanilla extract, and mix everything at medium speed. Add salt and baking soda and mix well. Add flour gradually and blend well.
  • Mix chocolate chips into the batter with a spatula. Mix in nuts if desired. Drop the cookies onto the baking sheet using a cookie scoop leaving a space of 2 inches between them.
  • Pre-heat the oven to 375F and bake for 12-15 minutes. Be careful not to overbake. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet before serving.
  • They can be enjoyed immediately or stored in an airtight container for one week.
