Turkey burgers are a great way to enjoy the flavors of Thanksgiving all year long. They are easy to make and can be prepared in advance, which makes them perfect for busy weeknights.
Combine the egg, parsley, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Combine with a fork.
Add ground turkey to the same bowl and mix gently with a fork until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
Form the turkey mixture into patties of 1/2-inch thickness by dividing it into four equal parts.
If Cooking On The Grill
Due to the delicate nature of turkey, you'll need to freeze the patties for about 30 minutes before grilling.
Place the patties in a baking dish lined with parchment paper and freeze.
Clean your grill grates and heat the grill to medium-high. To prevent sticking, oil the grill grates well.
Grill for about 6 minutes per side, or until done.
If Cooking On The Skillet
Add one tablespoon of olive oil or other cooking oil to your skillet or grill pan and heat for a few minutes at medium heat.
Then cook them for about 5 to 6 minutes on each side, until they're done. Cover the skillet with a lid while they cook on the first side so that they don't over brown.
To Serve
Serve on fresh burger buns with your favorite toppings. Enjoy!
