Ingredients
  

  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 (16-ounce) container whipped topping (thawed)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 (3.5-ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix , optional

Instructions
 

  • Stir together softened cream cheese and Cool Whip in a large mixing bowl. If using pudding mix, add the sugar, vanilla, and pudding mix. Combine all ingredients thoroughly.
  • You can color your frosting by adding several drops of food coloring. After each addition of food coloring, stir the frosting until the desired color is achieved.
  • Use a spatula to spread the frosting over your desired dessert. When the frosting is evenly distributed over the surface, use the spatula to smooth it out.
  • If you want to make your cake even more attractive, use a butter knife or spatula to create waves in the frosting. Alternatively, you can spoon the frosting into a pastry bag and squeeze frosting onto your dessert with a frosting tip. Enjoy!
