Ingredients
  

  • 4 cup Sliced peaches (from about 2 lb.)
  • 1/3 cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon or cardamom
  • 1/4 tsp Kosher salt
  • 1/2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup Light brown sugar
  • 1 stick Salted butter, melted

Instructions
 

  • Set the oven to 375 degrees. In a medium bowl, combine the peach slices, granulated sugar, lemon juice, vanilla, cinnamon, and kosher salt.
  • In a 9-inch-deep dish pie pan or an 8-by-8-inch baking dish, pour the mixture.
  • In the same basin, combine the flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and cinnamon. When the mixture is crumbly, add the melted butter and whisk.
  • The topping should be strewn over the peach mixture.
  • Bake for about 40 minutes, or until bubbling and golden. If desired, serve with vanilla ice cream.
