Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups  Flour
  • 1 teaspoon  Salt
  • 1 cup  Brown sugar
  • Egg
  • 3 teaspoons  Vanilla extract
  • 1.5 cups Evaporated milk
  • 1/4 cup  Butter
  • 2 teaspoons  Baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon  Ground nutmeg

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Prepare a baking sheet with parchment or non-stick spray.
  • In a big bowl, mix flour, salt, sugar, baking powder, and nutmeg evenly.
  • Whisk egg, and vanilla in another bowl until well mixed.
  • Add milk to eggs, and stir until smooth liquid forms.
  • Combine wet into dry mixture. Stir evenly with a spoon.
  • Cut butter into small pieces. Mix until butter melts in.
  • Grease the baking sheet with butter or non-stick spray.
  • Scoop the batter onto the sheet. Bake for 25 mins until golden.
  • Let the buns cool before enjoying them.

Notes

  • Mix the dry stuff well for all the flavours to be even.
  • Don't mix too much; some lumps are okay.
  • Use freshly grated nutmeg and cinnamon for the best taste.
