Ingredients
  

  • 1 kg  Yukon potatoes (peeled and thinly sliced)
  • 1 clove Garlic (crushed)
  • 300 ml  Double cream
  • 150 ml  Milk
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Butter (for greasing)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • Warm crushed garlic, cream, and milk in a saucepan.
  • Add sliced potatoes, salt, pepper, and gently mix.
  • Grease an ovenproof dish with butter.
  • Layer potatoes in the dish, adding cream between layers.
  • Finish with potatoes and the remaining cream mixture.
  • Bake for 1 hour 30 minutes until golden and tender. Enjoy!

  • Cut the potatoes the same size so they cook evenly.
