Ingredients

  • 400 Gram Macaroni
  • 115 Gram  Cheddar Cheese
  • 85 Gram  Gruyere Cheese
  • 85 Gram  Mozzarella Cheese
  • 4 tablespoon Flour
  • 4 tablespoon Butter
  • 4 Cups  Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Nutmeg & Pepper

Instructions

  • Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (180°C).
  • Mix all the cheeses together in a bowl.
  • In a saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil over medium heat.
  • Cook the macaroni in boiling water for 5 minutes. Meanwhile, on another burner, place a pot over medium-low heat. Melt the butter and whisk in the flour for 5 minutes.
  • Add milk to the flour mixture and let it thicken while stirring for 5 minutes. Once it thickens, gradually stir in ¾ of the cheese and cook for 5 more minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Turn off the stove and drain the pasta. Grab a 12-inch round baking dish and sprinkle the remaining 1/4 of the cheese on top.
  • Pop it in the oven and bake for 25 minutes.
  • Your dish is now ready to be served. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Cook the pasta until it's just right, not too soft.
  • Try a pinch of nutmeg for a tasty twist.
  • Top with breadcrumbs for a crispy finish.
