Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups of white rice long-grain
  • 2 tablespoons of garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup of low sodium soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup fresh parsley
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons of cayenne pepper
  • 2 tablespoons of paprika
  • 1 cup of onions diced
  • 1 stick of butter salted
  • 4 cups of chicken stock
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of pepper

Instructions
 

  • Melt the butter in a big skillet over medium heat.
  • Add two cups of rice, stirring frequently until the rice starts browning.
  • Add onions, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, paprika, pepper and salt. stirring frequently until it begins to caramelize.
  • Stir in the chicken stock and soy sauce and bring to a boil for 5 to 7 minutes.
  • Reduce the heat to medium low, or until the rice is simmering gently.
  • You should cook rice until liquid is absorbed and rice is tender for about 12 to 18 minutes.
