Taco Bell Baja Sauce Recipe
Taco Bell Baja sauce recipe is a spicy, creamy sauce that is a great addition to taco bell. This is a convenient sauce that you can easily freeze and can be found in any grocery store with a similar brand. The taco bell Baja sauce is also an easy recipe to make and provides great appetizer toppers for your taco bowl.
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup Freshly grated pepper jack cheese
- 2 tbsp Freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp Cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp Onion powder
- 1/4 tsp Garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp Kosher salt
- 2 tsp Corn syrup
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 jalapeno Finely Chopped
- 1 tbsp Buttermilk
- 1/2 cup Evaporated milk
- 4 tbsp Distilled vinegar
- 1 tbsp Pimentos Drained
- 1 pinch Cayenne pepper
- 3/4 cup Mayonnaise
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine the cheeses and cornstarch and mix well. Place aside. You will need two slices (equal to 1/3 cup) of Pepper Jack Cheese from Sergeant Limited Edition for this recipe.
- To prepare the mixture, combine the onion powder, garlic powder, salt, corn syrup, jalapeno, dry buttermilk, evaporated milk, and about 3 tablespoons of the vinegar in a small saucepan. Mix the buttermilk powder into the mixture until it dissolves.
- Stir the mixture over medium heat often while it is heating. Put the mixture on a good simmer. Remove the saucepan from the heat and whisk for at least one minute until the cheese has completely melted.
- Combine the heated cheese mixture with the pimentos in a blender. To make the mixture smooth, blend all of the ingredients until extremely finely chopped. Mix the mixture in a sealable bowl and let it sit on the counter several times until it reaches room temperature.
- Once the cheese mixture has completely cooled, add the remaining tablespoon of vinegar, mayonnaise, cayenne pepper, and stir to combine. Refrigerate the mixture for at least four hours so the flavors can meld.
