Today I am going to share a Publix fried chicken sandwich recipe that is extremely easy and delicious. This recipe is a family favorite of ours and we make it often. It’s very easy to prepare and the whole family loves it. The best part is that you can add your own personal touch by adding in some extra spices or even using boneless skinless chicken breasts instead of the traditional bone-in pieces. Publix fried chicken will be on our menu for weeks to come!
Fry the chicken tenders in a pan. Make sure that the chicken tenders are crisp and cooked through. Let them cool for a few minutes after draining the excess oil.
Cut the buns into slices. Using a grill, lightly char the inside of the bun.
On the open side of the buns, spread a thin layer of honey mustard sauce. Place some lettuce on top of the sauce, and arrange the tenders on the lettuce.
On top of the tenders, place the tomato slices and pickles. Cover with the other half of the bun. Spread with additional honey mustard sauce if desired.
