1 tbsp Oil 2 lbs Beef Stew Meat 1 Garlic clove Crushed 1/4 cup Sweet Onion Chopped 1 tsp Chili Powder 1 tsp Cumin 1/2 tbsp Paprika 1 pinch Black Pepper 1 pinch Salt 1/2 tbsp Brown Sugar 1 cup Tomatoes Crushed 1 15 ounce can Red Kidney Beans 1/2 tbsp White Vinegar 2 Jalapeños Sliced and seeded 1 tbsp All-Purpose Flour Cheddar Cheese Shredded Green Onions Chopped for garnish Red onions Chopped for garnish
Warm up the oil in a large stockpot over medium heat, then add the beef. Cook until the beef is browned.
Pour the garlic and onion into the stockpot and let simmer for a few minutes.
Stir in the chili powder, pepper, paprika, cumin, salt, and brown sugar. Make sure they are well combined.
Stir in the tomatoes, vinegar, jalapenos and beans. Let it simmer for about 10 minutes.
To thicken it, add flour and stir until combined. It shouldn’t take long.
Top the chili with cheese, red onions and green onions before serving.
