Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups All Purpose Flour
  • ¼ cup Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 10 tablespoon butter melted but cool
  • 2 large eggs
  • Neutral oil such as vegetable or canola
  • Butter
  • Maple syrup

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix well with a fork.
  • Combine buttermilk, melted butter, and eggs in a separate bowl.
  • In a large bowl, mix together the dry ingredients and the buttermilk mixture.
  • Allow your pancake batter to sit for 20 minutes. This is an important step! Don't skip it! It allows your leaveners to activate, resulting in fluffy pancakes.
  • Heat a skillet over medium low heat. Add 1 Tablespoon of oil to your skillet after it has been heated for 5 minutes.
  • Using a portion scoop, place the batter in the hot skillet. It is entirely up to you how large your pancakes are, but I recommend 1/2 cups.
  • Make sure each side is golden brown. Wait until the pancake top is bubbling, around three minutes each side, to achieve this.
  • If necessary, add more oil until all your batter has been used. Enjoy!
