Ingredients
  

  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1   Onion diced
  • 2 Cloves garlic minced
  • Peeled and diced tomatoes (28-ounce can)
  • Tomato paste(6 ounce can)
  • 1 tablespoon  Basil (dried)
  • 1 tablespoon Oregano (dried)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt 
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Heat the olive oil over medium heat until it shimmers. Add the onion and cook for a few minutes until translucent.
  • Continue cooking the garlic until it releases its fragrant aroma.
  • The chopped tomatoes, tomato paste, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper should be added to the pan. Stir everything together until well mixed.
  • The sauce should boil gently, then be simmered. Let it cook and simmer until it reaches your preferred thickness, which typically takes around 15 minutes.
