In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix well with a fork.
Combine buttermilk, melted butter, and eggs in a separate bowl.
In a large bowl, mix together the dry ingredients and the buttermilk mixture.
Allow your pancake batter to sit for 20 minutes. This is an important step! Don't skip it! It allows your leaveners to activate, resulting in fluffy pancakes.
Heat a skillet over medium low heat. Add 1 Tablespoon of oil to your skillet after it has been heated for 5 minutes.
Using a portion scoop, place the batter in the hot skillet. It is entirely up to you how large your pancakes are, but I recommend 1/2 cups.
Make sure each side is golden brown. Wait until the pancake top is bubbling, around three minutes each side, to achieve this.
If necessary, add more oil until all your batter has been used. Enjoy!
