2 cups Bisquick baking mix ⅔ cups Milk (approximately 5.4 oz) Herbs (optional) to add color and freshness to the final dish For Gluten Free Bisquick Dumplings 2.25 cups Bisquick baking mix ⅔ cups Milk (approximately 5.4 oz) 3 Eggs ⅓ cups Vegetable shortening Herbs (optional) to add color and freshness to the final dish
Take a medium-sized pot or bowl,
Add the 2 cups Bisquick baking premix and ⅔ cups milk in the bowl while stirring.
Keep stirring so that a soft dough is formed.
Stop mixing when the dough is formed.
Taking the spoonfuls of the mixture, add it to the boiling stew.
Reduce the flame under the stew to low.
Do not over-stir the dumplings in the stew otherwise, they will break.
Keeping the lid of the stew pot open, cook the dumplings for about 10 minutes.
Now cover the simmering stew pot with a lid and again cook for 10 minutes.
Your quick and delicious Bisquick dumplings are ready. Sprinkle your favorite herbs and serve them straight away. Bon Appetit!
For Gluten Free Bisquick Dumplings Take a medium-sized pot or bowl,
Add the 2.25 cups Bisquick baking premix in it.
Then using a blender or forks cut the vegetable shortening into the premix.
In a separate bowl, add 3 eggs and ⅔ cups milk and whisk them well together.
Then mix the two mixtures and keep stirring so that a soft dough is formed.
Taking the spoonfuls of the mixture, add it to the boiling stew.
Reduce the flame under the stew to low.
Repeat the same steps as with the normal premix mentioned above.
Your quick and delicious Gluten free Bisquick dumplings are ready. Sprinkle your favorite herbs and serve them straight away. Bon Appetit!
While mixing the ingredients, do not over-mix them otherwise it will result in hard and chewy dumplings.
If the dumplings are fluffy and soft from the center, consider them done and do not overcook.
Do not stir the dumplings in the stew or else they will fall apart.
Make sure not to cook but simmer the stew at low flame when you have added dumplings in it. Otherwise, the dumplings will get dry.
You can also add the herbs to the dry mix to have a better flavor.
