Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Butter
  • 1 cup  Sugar
  • Egg
  • 1⁄2 cup  Sour cream
  • 3 1⁄2 cups  Flour
  • 1 teaspoon  Baking soda
  • 1 pinch  Salt

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, mix together the butter and sugar until creamy. Add the egg and sour cream, and mix well.
  • Stir in the baking soda and salt.
  • Gradually add the flour until the dough becomes hard to stir.
  • Place the dough on a surface with flour and knead it until it's not sticky anymore.
  • Roll the dough to a thickness of about 1/4 to 1/2 inch.
  • Use cookie cutters to cut out shapes from the dough.
  • Put the cookies on an ungreased baking sheet, leaving some space between them.
  • Bake the cookies in an oven preheated to 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 8-10 minutes.
  • The edges of the cookies should turn lightly brown.
  • Take the cookies out of the oven and transfer them to wire racks to cool down.
