- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 1⁄2 cup Sour cream
- 3 1⁄2 cups Flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking soda
- 1 pinch Salt
In a bowl, mix together the butter and sugar until creamy. Add the egg and sour cream, and mix well.
Stir in the baking soda and salt.
Gradually add the flour until the dough becomes hard to stir.
Place the dough on a surface with flour and knead it until it's not sticky anymore.
Roll the dough to a thickness of about 1/4 to 1/2 inch.
Use cookie cutters to cut out shapes from the dough.
Put the cookies on an ungreased baking sheet, leaving some space between them.
Bake the cookies in an oven preheated to 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 8-10 minutes.
The edges of the cookies should turn lightly brown.
Take the cookies out of the oven and transfer them to wire racks to cool down.
