They’re known for their zesty seasoning and signature sauces, but this recipe takes it to another level! This is a perfect dish for anyone who loves fried chicken or you can even make it into a sandwich by putting your favourite toppings on it! Ingredients
  

  • 1/3 cup Lowfat buttermilk
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Freshly ground pepper
  • Nonstick cooking spray
  • 1 1/2 lbs Chicken breasts boneless and skinless
  • 1 cup Unseasoned bread crumbs
  • 1/3 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 cup Cornflakes crushed
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Slice the chicken breasts into half-inch pieces.
  • Cover the chicken with buttermilk and place in a shallow dish. Let it sit for 15 minutes.
  • Spray nonstick cooking spray on a cookie sheet or baking sheet.
  • In a shallow bowl, combine the bread crumbs, corn flakes, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  • Put your egg in another shallow bowl and beat it. Take a shallow plate and put the flour on it.
  • Flour the chicken fingers, then dip them in the egg, and finally cover them with the cornflakes and bread crumbs.
  • Prepare your baking sheet by arranging the chicken fingers. Bake for approximately eight minutes, or until fully cooked.
