Gringo's Mexican Green Sauce Recipe
Gringo's Mexican green sauce is a very popular sauce in Latin America, especially in Mexico. It is used as a salsa, topping over grilled meat or as a dip to share with friends and family.
Ingredients
- 3 tomatillo tomato
- 1 tomato
- 2 Jalapenos (seeded)
- 1 bunch cilantro
- 2 Avocados
- 1 (8-12 oz) container of sour cream
- garlic powder (to taste)
- salt (to taste)
Instructions
- Boil tomatillos and tomatoes to remove skins.
- Mix tomatillos, tomato, jalapenos, and the rest of the ingredients in a blender.
- Add some water to the tomatoes to thin them if it is too thick. Enjoy with tortilla chips.
