Here is the real traditional Cuban Mojito Cocktail recipe that a cuban friend showed me, it is very simple to make but two small details are very important and make your mojito taste like a real cuban mojito.
5cl1,7 oz of Cuban Rum (preferably Bacardi Gold or Havana Club 3 anos)
Sparkling water
Ice cubes
2drops of Angostura.
Instructions
Put 10 mint leaves and the sugar in your glass, crush it with a spoon ( or use a pestle for cocktails if you have one). Crush the mint about 20 times to extract properly the mint aroma.
Squeeze you lime over the crushed mint and sugar that is in your glass. Then put the lime into the glass.
Pour the Rum on the whole preparation
Add two drops of Angostura
Add some ice cubes (In Cuba the use bif ice cubes, because it is very hot over there, but you can use crushed ice)
