Easy Puffed Rice

Puffed rice is a very simple type of rice. It is prepared very easily. The ingredients are all dry and they can be eaten as an accompaniment to any meal. The key ingredient in this type of rice is rice flour. However, the taste is simply delicious. This type of rice is equally healthy and nutritious. Moreover, it is very easy to cook and to prepare.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Rice
  • 1 3/4 cup Water
  • Sea salt to taste
  • Vegetable oil

Instructions
 

  • Wash your choice of rice. Put the rice in boiling saltwater and let it boil for a few minutes. Allow the rice to cook until it’s soft
  • Place the cooked rice on a baking sheet. Put the rice in a 250 °F oven and let it dry for two hours.
  • Heat the oil to 375 degrees Fahrenheit in a pot. Place a few rice grains in the oil to test the temperature. Fry the rice for 5 to 10 seconds.
  • Transfer the rice to a baking sheet after lifting it out of the oil. Allow the rice to cool and then serve it.
