In a sealable bag or lasagna-style dish, combine the lemon pepper seasoning, thyme, olive oil, cider vinegar and green peppercorns.

Stir in the lamb steaks, cover and let marinate for 20 minutes. Alternatively, place the lamb steaks in the refrigerator overnight.

In a non-stick pan, heat some oil and cook the steaks for about 3 – 4 minutes on each side. The steaks can also be cooked on a moderately hot barbecue plate.

Add the oil and salt to 1 cup of water in a small saucepan and bring to a boil.
