How To Make JELL-O Chocolate Pudding Pie 

This easy and delicious dish is a simple chocolate instant pudding, which you can make with just one package of Jell-O Chocolate Instant Pudding in addition to some cold milk. Goldstein recommends using whole milk if possible because it will help give your dessert more fluffiness when mixed together with the other ingredients!

To prepare this tasty dessert, just use store-bought or homemade pie crust dough; raspberry sauce for topping off (or any fruit); and whip cream/Cool Whip.


  • Chocolate pudding mix. 2 packages (3 ½ oz) 
  • Milk, 3 1⁄2 cups
  • Butter, 2 tablespoons
  • Chocolate chips, 1⁄3 cup
  • Pastry shell (baked)
  • Toppings (optional)- chocolate chips, chocolate shavings, chocolate sauce, whipped topping


Step 1

In a saucepan, combine JELL-O mixes, milk, butter, and chips.

Step 2

Cook the ingredients over medium heat, whisking lightly until the mixture reaches a full boil.

Step 3

Remove the pan from the heat and let it cool for five minutes, stirring twice.

Step 4

Pour the mixture into a baked shell. Allow it to cool to room temperature. Then place in refrigerator for 3 hours.

Top with your favourite toppings and enjoy!
