- Olive Oil, 2 tablespoon
- Whole Large Onion (Diced), 1/2
- Garlic cloves (minced), 2
- Ground Beef, 2 pounds
- Salt (To Taste)
- Freshly Ground Black Pepper (To Taste)
- Ground Thyme, 1 teaspoon
- Whole Tomatoes. 2 cans (14 ounces)
- Parmesan Cheese (Freshly Grated), 1/4 cup
- Rigatoni, 1-1/2 pounds
Instrictions
Step 1
In a large skillet or pot, heat oil over medium heat. Cook the onion for a few minutes, until it becomes translucent. Stir the garlic for one minute without browning it.

Cook the ground beef until it is browned. Drain the excess fat. Add salt, pepper, and thyme to taste.
