Delicious Broccoli Cornbread Paula Deen

Broccoli Cornbread Paula Deen

Corn is one of the few plant foods that are good for you. Any food that is grown without chemicals or pesticides will be found to be healthier than grains grown using conventional techniques. Healthy meals can be made from corn by choosing whole foods instead of white bread or processed cornstarch-based products.

Cornbread is one of the first foods you’ll be able to recall when you were a kid. During the Civil War, it originated in the United States. When corn was scarce, the value of bread doubled, so people began to bake cornbread. Cornbread is typically cornmeal, but you can substitute other grains like oats, buckwheat, flour, or rice flour for the corn. You can also use cornmeal that is soaked in water or soybean oil.
