Ingredients
- Swanson chicken breast (weighing 4.5 ounces), 1 can
- Vegetable oil, 1 ½ tablespoon
- Celery (chopped), ½ cup
- Lemon wedge, 1
- Red onions (chopped), 1 tablespoon
- Mayonnaise (Low-fat), 3 tablespoons
- Chopped nuts, 1 tablespoon
- Salt and pepper
- Dijon mustard, ½ teaspoon
- Parsley (chopped), 1 tablespoon
- Lettuce (chopped), 2 tablespoon
Instructions
Step 1
Clean the chicken with clean water after draining it from the can.
Step 2
Over medium heat, lightly toast the chicken pieces in the vegetable oil that has been added to the pan. Drain the oil. Remove the chicken from the heat, drain the oil, and chop it roughly.
Step 3
In a large salad mixing bowl, pour the chicken. Add the onions, celery, nuts, Dijon mustard, mayonnaise, and sprinkle salt and pepper. Combine well.
Step 4
Sprinkle with chopped parsley and lettuce. Squeeze the lemon wedge over everything. Finalize the mix. This is a good side dish to serve with bread.
