I always love to make ribs. But I always wonder why my ribs are so tender, while my friends’ ribs are all dried up. That’s when I had my first Air Fryer experience. It was the time of Brian, who had lost his wife of 10 years to cancer, and I helped him get through his dark days. While I don’t know if it was the Air Fryer that did the trick for him, or perhaps it was another dimension that had been added to him by nature, I am sure that it did the trick, because after that day

For the most part, fried foods are a calorie bomb, but air frying is a different story. You can make a full meal with these ribs, and even pair them with a side of baked beans for a complete meal.

How Long Do You Cook Air Fryer Country Style Ribs?

There are a few variables to consider when cooking meat in an air fryer. It depends on the size and thickness of the meat, the wattage of your air fryer and the level of doneness that you prefer.

What To Serve With Air Fryer Country Style Ribs?

It’s absolutely fine to eat the ribs on their own, but in order to have a complete meal, it would be wise to serve them with a nice side dish. Here are some of our favourite sides to serve with Country Style Ribs.

Can I Make Air-fried Ribs Ahead Of Time?

Absolutely. It is possible to cook the ribs in advance and then reheat them in the air fryer. Simply reheat at 350° for about 5-10 minutes until heated through. For a nice crust on the BBQ sauce, increase the temperature to 390° for another 3 minutes.

Why Are Country-style Ribs Different From Baby Back Ribs?

Baby Back Ribs contain the bones in-centre, which makes them feel extra tender to chew on! Country Style Ribs do not have this bone so they’re much lighter and easier for your mouth to enjoy than their baby back counterpart.

How Many Boneless Ribs Are Served Per Person?

Each rib is filled with so much meat that it goes a long way when hosting game day parties. You’re likely to serve about 2-3 ribs per person when you host that event.

Is It Possible To Store Air Fried Country Style Ribs?

Definitely! They will keep in the refrigerator for up to 3 days if they are well sealed. Also, you can freeze it for up to a month. To reheat, bake it in the oven or microwave it. During microwave cooking, heat in short bursts for 30 seconds until warm. For the air fryer, reheat for 6 minutes until warm, or at  380°F / 194°C.

Tips For Air Fryer Country Style Ribs:

  • To prevent meat from sticking to the rack of the air fryer, spray the rack before you use it.
  • Make sure the ribs are cut into pieces of similar size for even cooking.
  • Make sure there is some space between your ribs so the air can move around. Avoid stacking your ribs. They will cook much better if they have enough room to move around.
  • In order for the ribs to be cooked, their internal temperature must be at least 145*F. However, we like them closer to 160 F. Ultimately, it will depend on your personal preference, but don’t forget to cook them at least to 145 F.
  • You shouldn’t apply the sauce before the last 10 minutes because the sugar in the BBQ sauce can burn.
