Clotted Cream Fudge Recipe

Clotted Cream Fudge Recipe

The frosty weather and snowfall might render you feeling as solitary as the seemingly desolate sky outside your window. Today, my goal is to sprinkle a bit of joy into your everyday monotony with a scrumptious Clotted Cream Fudge Recipe. I had the opportunity to share this creamy fudge delicacy at a work function about a month ago, and I’m overjoyed to bring it to my readers today.

One evening, while enjoying TV with my family, I chanced upon a show highlighting fudge recipes. You know, the kind of indulgence we’re not really supposed to have, but can’t help but crave all day, every day. It was a true culinary gem, a caramelized, rich, crumbly brown sugar fudge with clotted cream.

Naturally, I watched the entire show and went to bed dreaming of this creamy fudge. The taste, the aroma, the appearance – I adore creamy fudge. I have a Clotted Cream Fudge Recipe that my children can’t wait for me to prepare this winter. So, in anticipation of warmer days and inspired by that show, I thought I’d share a recipe with you. Now, you don’t have to wait for Christmas or birthday parties to enjoy Clotted Cream Fudge. You can easily prepare it at home with this simple recipe.

Ingredients

  • One cup of clotted cream
  • One cup white sugar
  • Three tablespoons butter
  • One and a half cup golden syrup
  • One and a half teaspoon kosher salt
  • One cup of lightly packed brown sugar
  • Two tablespoons of pure Vanilla extract

Step by Step making of Clotted Cream Fudge Recipe

Step 1

Prepare an 8×8 pan by lining the pan with parchment paper and then spraying it with a nonstick spray. Afterward, combine all of your ingredients in a large pan and whisk them to combine over the medium flame. Boil your ingredient mixture by whisking and then cook for  5 minutes until it touches 260F.

Step 2

Then, pour your fudge into a prepared pan and utilize a spatula to spread out the fudge evenly. Then allow your fudge to cool slowly.  Cut your fudge into small pieces.

Step 3

Pour almost 2 pints of the heavy whipping cream into the large and shallow baking dish to make your clotted cream.  Then I bake it for 12 hours at about 175F.

Step 4

Allow this cream to cool down at room temperature for about one hour. Afterward, cover it with plastic wrap and refrigerate the cream for about 6 to 8 hours. Now use a spoon to scrape off your solid clotted cream into your small bowl.

Step 5

You can also save your liquid whey and can use it in the stones and biscuits.  A trick to make a good homemade creamy fudge is to cook your ingredients at the right temperature to make a sugar syrup and then cool this sugar syrup properly so that your fudge can have a firm and smooth texture but can also be soft enough to cut.
