Ingredients

  • Potatoes (peeled and cubed), 6 to 7 
  • 1 onion (small, chopped) 
  • Water
  • Cream cheese (cut in cubes), 8 oz
  • Milk, 1 1/2 cups
  • Condensed cream of mushroom soup, 1 can 
  • Condensed cream of celery soup, 1 can 
  • Butter, 1/2 stick
  • Garlic salt, 1 tsp 
  • Shredded cheese (for topping)
  • Bacon bits (for topping)

Instructions

Step 1

Put the potatoes and onions in a medium pot of water and cook until tender.

Step 2

When potatoes are tender, stir in 8 ounces of cream cheese.

Step 3

Pour butter, soups, milk, and garlic salt. Cook for about 5- 10 minutes.

Step 4

Serve it with bacon bits, cheese, and shredded cheese topping.
