Ingredients

  • Tomatoes (crushed), 1 pound
  • Large white onion (chopped), 1 
  • Bell peppers (roasted), 2 cups
  • Habanero pepper (roasted), 1/2 pound
  • Jalapeno pepper (roasted), 1/2 pound
  • Chipotle peppers (crushed), 2  
  • Whole bulb garlic (peeled and roasted), 1 
  • All-spice powdered, 1 teaspoon
  • Sugar, 2/3 cup
  • Salt, 2 teaspoons
  • Vinegar, 3 cups

Instructions

Step 1

Add crushed tomatoes, roasted habanero peppers, roasted bell peppers, roasted jalapeno peppers, and chopped onion to a food processor and process until smooth.

Step 2

Add the mixed sauce to a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the sugar, all-spice, vinegar, and salt. Cook for 30 minutes, stirring constantly.

Step 3

Allow the sauce to cool completely after removing the pan from the heat. Fill the sterilized jars and close the lids. 

Step 4

If you want to keep these jars longer, put them in a hot water bath for 15 minutes. You can use the sauce for 2-4 weeks after placing the jars in the refrigerator.
