The word holiday-themed is overused, but this cobbler is still probably one of the best. A traditional cobbler, like vanilla or chocolate in this recipe, can be very sweet in flavor. When you use the spices in the recipe, however, the main ingredient gets a nice little flavor boost. Since it’s not traditional to layer your cobbler, it’s best to eat this in one bite so you get the flavor in each area.
The mulberry cobbler is a classic dessert recipe. The combination of a custard base and a sweet fruit layer, this dessert is a traditional summer treat. In summer, autumn, and winter I also use the word “cobbler” in my title. I believe that the name of the dish comes from the shape of the layer of fruit. In fact, my second book on recipes with a twist is called “cobbler”.
This mulberry cobbler recipe is the best, and you’ll soon understand why. We got it from an old cookbook of my grandmother. She was a good cook, which gave me an inspiration to become one. The middle part of the cake is filled with sweet mulberries. The crust is crumbly.
