Today I will share a simple recipe for cannabis corn syrup.

Cannabis Corn syrup may not be as famous as white sugar, but this isn’t a bad thing. Corn syrup is great for baking and food preparation and you can find some real winners on the market today. Many people collect their own sugar and corn syrup and like to make their own syrup. This is a good way to save some money and it adds to the flavor of your food.

Corn syrup was once used to sweeten many of our favorite foods. There are many old recipes for corn syrup that use it, however, if you want to make your own syrup you do need to use some corn starch. It’s important to use the right amount of corn syrup in the recipe if you want your corn syrup to be thick enough to be able to easily spread across the top of your cake.

How To Make Cannabis Corn syrup

This is the most famous of all syrup recipes, though it is surprisingly simple. You can make this in any quantity you wish, though it is often made slightly smaller than the amount given here. All you need are ground cannabis and light corn syrup.

Ingredients

  • Light Corn Syrup, 3 glasses 
  • Cannabis (finely ground), 1 ounce 
  • Cheesecloth
  • Spoon
  • Tupperware holder with cover
  • Slow cooker
  • Elastic band

Instructions

Step 1

In the saucepan or stewing pot, add the light corn syrup and heat on low or medium. Ensure the syrup does not bubble while it warms up.

Step 2

Add the finely ground cannabis to the syrup. For a minimum of four hours, blend the cannabis often as it does uses. Don’t allow it to bubble.

Step 3

Using elastic bands, secure 2 sheets of cheesecloth over the cover of the dish to create your Tupperware holder. Turn off the heat and let the blend cool down a bit.

Step 4

Put the cannabis corn syrup mixture onto the cheesecloth, starting at the highest point. Rehash this progression as important to strain the greater part of the plant from the syrup.

Step 5

Place the syrup in a cool place. When the syrup has cooled, strain it into a measuring cup with a spout.
