I’ve been meaning to write this post for a long time now and I’m so happy to finally get it done. This is my blog about all the things I love: coffee, brunch, and friends. And what could be better than combining those three things? This summer has been filled with brunches with friends at the lake or on the beach, but there’s one that stands out as our favourite: manmosas! We’re not sure how we stumbled across this amazing drink but now we can’t stop ordering them. It’s an iced coffee mixed with fresh orange juice and it tastes like summer in a glass.
The Man-Mosa is the perfect drink for your next brunch date. The Man-Mosa is quickly becoming one of the most requested cocktails at The Chandelier Room’s Sunday brunch party. It’s simple, but it gives male guests an updated take on a traditional mimosa by combining Stoli with Blue Moon in what might be called “a much more masculine glass.”
How To Make Manmosa
The Manmosa recipe is a combination of orange juice, vodka and beer…according to their menu. Since I’m not big on flavored vodkas (except for this slushy), I swapped out the Orange Vodka for regular Vodka- it definitely gave my drink more depth with cleaner flavors without an artificial aftertaste like other cocktails might have had before! Then finally we added some Summer Shandy mix in place of traditional brew instead.;)
