How To Make Turkey London Broil

Turkey London Broil recipe is the perfect recipe for getting a delicious and crispy-textured turkey breast. To make the recipe, you only need tasty turkey breasts, along with some tasty ingredients that fulfill your taste buds. Before we get into the recipe, I would like to point out that it should be cooked using a broiler. Compared to grilling, the broiling process is quicker because the food is heated directly from the broiling frame. So let’s get started!

Ingredients

  • Boneless Turkey breast, 3 pounds
  • Olive oil, 3 tablespoon
  • Garlic cloves (Chopped), 4
  • Onion (Chopped), 1 cup
  • Dry oregano, 1 tablespoon
  • Dry thyme, 1 teaspoon
  • White pepper, 1 teaspoon
  • Dry rosemary, 1 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice, 2 tablespoon
  • Fresh sage leaves, 3

Instructions

Step 1

Blend garlic, onion, dry oregano, dry thyme, white pepper, and dry rosemary until they become puree.

Step 2

Place the turkey in a medium bowl and simply cut a small hole with a knife so that the puree can get inside. Apply herbs pure by hand to the breast completely and evenly.

Step 3

Wrap the bowl loosely in plastic and place the turkey in the refrigerator for 2 hours to marinate. Keep in mind that the longer you marinate the turkey, the softer and gravy-like it will be when you grab it.

Step 4

Place the foil paper on a sheet pan and preheat the oven to 375°. As soon as the temperature reaches 375 degrees, turn off the oven and turn on the broiler.

Step 5

Place the turkey on the middle rack of the oven and cook for five minutes. Cook the turkey until it is a pleasant earthy brown color on top. Allow it to bake for approximately five minutes.

Step 6

Flip the breast over and cook the opposite side for five more minutes. Watch the meat carefully to avoid burning.

Step 7

Turn off the broiler and turn the oven back on to 375 degrees. Broil the turkey in the oven for exactly 20 minutes. The turkey cannot burn during this phase.

Step 8

Then turn off the oven and turn over the turkey. Do not remove turkey from oven. Cook for an additional 20 minutes.

Step 9

Check the turkey breast’s internal temperature. When it reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit, the turkey is ready. Keep checking the turkey if it is not done after a while. Turn off the oven and stay inside for a few minutes.

Step 10

Before cutting the turkey, remove it from the oven and let it cool for fifteen minutes. Then add fresh sage leaves and lemon juice for flavor.

Step 11

You can serve turkey London broil with roasted garlic mashed potatoes, white sauce, and green bean casserole. Hopefully, you’ll like it. Thanks!
