- Heavy cream, 2 tablespoons
Instructions
Step 1
Heat the oven to 325 degrees F. Grease and flour a 9-inch springform pan. Heat chocolate and butter on the top of a double boiler, stirring occasionally until chocolate is melted and smooth. Remove from heat when lukewarm.
Step 2
Pour the chocolate mixture into a large bowl. Add the flour and egg yolks. Mix egg whites in a separate large glass or metal bowl until they become foamy.
Step 3
Add sugar gradually, beating until stiff peaks form. Fold in about 1/3 of the remaining whites quickly, then fold in the chocolate mixture. Prepare a pan by pouring batter into it.

Bake for 35 minutes in the preheated oven. Shut off the oven, crack the door, and let the cake cool in the oven.
