If you’re a fan of pies, it’s probably a good thing that you’re here. We all love a nice crusty pie, a juicy filling, and a good layer of frosting. Since pie is a popular dish, it makes sense that it would be a popular recipe. However, salting the dough and cooking for hours is not typically something that interests or inspires people. In fact, it seems like most people would rather make something much simpler.
A Fried Chocolate Pies made from scratch the old fashioned way is unrivalled. Peach and chocolate are my favourites when it comes to fried pies. When making a peach pie like the one my great grandmother made, you need dried peaches. Neither fresh nor canned tomatoes pack the same kind of flavour as dried ones. In order to make fried chocolate pies like I grew up with, you must make your own chocolate paste with sugar, butter, and cocoa powder, just like my Aunt Sue does, and use the recipe I included in my first cookbook, as I’m sharing with you.
A chocolate crust or flaky pastry can also be used to make fried chocolate pies. If you decide to fry the pies you can fill them with a homemade chocolate pudding and then bake them. Serve them once they’re golden and crispy, or drizzle melted chocolate over them.
How To Make Fried Chocolate Pies

We created it to take advantage of the fact that we love chocolate and pies, and it’s not very easy to make. If you like chocolate, but don’t like pie, you’re in for a treat. It’s the ultimate chocolate pie dessert. So let’s get started!
