The Perfect Cosmopolitan Drink Recipe

You are now looking at the Perfect Cosmopolitan drink recipe, one of the most famous martini cocktails, in a few minutes you can be drinking this great cocktail.

The Cosmo became famous thanks to the “Sex and the city” girls, they were drinking this cocktail non stop! Since then the “Cosmo” became very popular, especially among the ladies.

The cocktails‘ basic ingredient is Vodka, any Vodka will do, i prefer “citron” vodka like absolut citron or ketel one citron for example, to it we add to it orange liqueur, cranberry juice, and lime cordial.

Ingredients for the Perfect Cosmopolitan:

• 2 Oz citron vodka
  
• 1 Oz orange liqueur (always prefer Cointreau)
  
• 1 Oz Cranberry Juice
  
• Dash of Lime Cordial (we recommend Rose’s Lime Juice)
  
• 8 Ice cubes or crushed ice
  
• Lime peel for garnish

Instructions

Step 1

Sterilize the martini glass

Step 2

Pour the vodka and liqueur  to your shaker

Step 3

Pour the cordial and cranberry and to your shaker

Step 4 

Add the lime juice or just squeeze a half of lime

Step 5

Add ice in shaker

Step 6

Add 8 ice cubes

Step 7

Stir at least 12 times

Step 8

Strain your cocktail using strainer and put into the chilled glass

Garnish:
Twist a lime peel and place it the rim of the drink, or just place it in the glass, it adds great aroma and flavor

You can also use:
Any flavored vodka, like vanilla, currant, peach… as long as they are not sweet and just have an aroma. Triple sec is an orange liqueur you can use instead of the cointreau.
